Coronavirus: Secretary of State letter to the construction industry

Coronavirus-statement-part-2

In light of the recent letter to the construction industry from the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, thanking workers for their support, I wanted to give you an update of our situation at Masons Scaffolding in relation to COVID-19. The well-being of our staff, customers and the general public is of upmost importance to us. Our staff are absolutely free to choose whether to continue working or to self-isolate with no penalty for doing so; many have chosen to continue working wherever possible.

We are currently running a scaled down service, working on existing projects where our attendance is essential. We are also servicing clients, wherever we are able to ensure that safe distance measures and other associated precautions applicable to the Coronavirus can be observed.

We would like to thank NHS staff for their unbelievable service and our lorries and drivers will be made available to transport any medical supplies or the like to assist them whenever and wherever possible. Our usual contact details are fully available to any NHS or Government office to assist them in any way.

We will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and will respond to any changes in medical and Government advice.
