Freddie Holman is the newest member of the Masons team – read this interview to learn more about him.
What’s your job title?
Operations Manager.
What does your job involve?
My day-to-day role includes the safe allocation of labour on projects, as well as evaluating production against cost and liaising with clients and other members of the team on a regular basis.
What’s your background?
I worked for Tone Scaffolding for a number of years where I progressed to Advanced Scaffolder, working on some complex projects during that time. I started with Grant in 2016 and have been heavily involved in running the challenging project at Henrietta House.
What’s your favourite part of your job/What are you most looking forward to in your job?
I prefer the projects that have a complex design and require a lot of thought when preparing the risk assessment and method statement. I am looking forward to being involved in the estimating and surveying side of the business.
Why Masons Scaffolding?
Grant offered me an opportunity to progress through the company and gave me support by getting me involved in the work at Henrietta House. He also has a great ethos towards all his staff and clients.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
With young children to look after, I don’t get a lot of spare time. I spend most of my time with them and my family.
