The brief
The Masons Scaffolding team were asked to provide full scaffolding for the external redecoration and repair works to the Carlton House Terrace project, which is a Heritage building located on the prestigious Pall Mall in Westminster, London. The project commenced earlier this year and is due to last until November 2022 for our valued client Axis Europe.
Overview
Overlooking the Royal Park, our project includes works on numerous buildings on the prestigious street in the St James’s district. These include 1-3 Carlton Gardens, as well as Heritage buildings 2-9 and 10-18 Carlton House Terrace, which are two four storey-plus blocks of grand terraced townhouses on the south side. They were designed by architect John Nash with numbers 10-18 now being Grade I listed. The occupants range from The British Academy, The Royal Academy of Engineering, The Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Turf Club and The Royal Society.
The Masons Scaffolding team have been doing a fantastic job so far by keeping to the project schedule and we are all very excited to see the end result – keep up the good work!
